Nottingham Castle Waterside & Marina Unveils Major Transformation Following £1.3 Million Investment
Aquavista is proud to announce the completion of a landmark redevelopment at Nottingham Castle Waterside & Marina, following an investment of £1.3 million - one of the most significant upgrade programmes in the company’s history.
The extensive transformation has delivered a complete enhancement of the marina’s facilities, infrastructure and customer experience, creating a modern, high-quality waterside destination in the heart of Nottingham city centre.

Major Redevelopment Completed
The redevelopment programme has included the full replacement of the marina’s pontoons with durable, anti-slip GRP mesh Duradeck installed by pontoon specialists Solent Marine. New utility bollards and upgraded safety equipment have also been introduced, alongside a reconfiguration of the marina layout to provide 156 berths.
The marina’s facilities building has undergone a complete refurbishment, delivering five brand-new luxury ensuite bathrooms, upgraded Wi-Fi, enhanced CCTV coverage and improvements to the wet dock facilities. A new dog-wash station - now a popular feature across Aquavista’s network - has also been added, alongside a series of aesthetic enhancements designed to improve the overall appearance and usability of the site.
Residential Moorings Now Available
As part of the redevelopment, Aquavista has launched residential moorings at Nottingham Castle Waterside & Marina, offering customers the opportunity to enjoy full-time waterside living in one of the UK’s most vibrant city locations.
The residential package includes an official UK registered address, personal lockable post box and storage box, free weekly laundry, free monthly pump-out and additional customer benefits.
